The House of Representatives is located inside the Legislative Palace in Montevideo Uruguay

It is the legislative branch of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and is the body of the legislature that represents the citizens of Uruguay through an open and free election by universal suffrage.

In order to be a candidate for Uruguay's House of Representatives, you must;

• Be a natural born Uruguayan or,
• Have at least five years of Legal Uruguayan Citizenship
• You must be at least twenty five years of age or older

This house consists of ninety-nine members elected directly by the people of Uruguay
