Games and activities for Children moving to Uruguay by: Roy
Hi Thanks alot for your post and your kind words about Explore Uruguay.
Congratulations on your upcoming move to Uruguay.
I have been back in the capital city of Montevideo Uruguay since March 1 2012 and I can tell you that you are going to have an amazing time when you move here. The people of Uruguay are so friendly and the culture and history are amazing and very interesting.
Here are a couple suggestions for teaching your children some Uruguay activities that will help them fit into the Uruguay culture easier and hopefully make lots of new friends.
Kids are kids anywhere in the world and so activities such as Soccer, skipping rope and tag are all very common in Uruguay, and all kids play them.
I hope it helps, and I sincerely wish your family the best as you undertake this new adventure!
Drop me a line sometime and let me know it goes. I am back in Uruguay now as of March 1, 2012 and have no plans of leaving. Although, I do plan to travel Uruguay alot of the next two to three years.
Let me know when you are coming and I will get you hooked up with Montevideo Expats and other groups that can help you get adjusted to your new Life in Uruguay.
