The Oath of the Uruguay Constitution

On July 18th 1830 was sworn our first constitution in accordance with the requirements established by the law of June 25 of this same year.


In Montevideo Uruguay, the act was performed in Cabildo´s room , with the participation of high civilian authorities, ecclesiastical, and military and in front of the Matriz square where it was sworn by the people of Uruguay.
